Panda's Friend is the 25th episode of the second season of We Bare Bears and the 51st episode overall.
Synopsis[]
Panda uses an app to find a friend with whom he has more in common, but things take a turn for the worse when the new friend gets too possessive.
Plot[]
The episode begins with the Bears hanging around in Bobba My <3.Panda suggests to the brothers to go to Anime Con. However, Grizzly refuses as he's busy, when he really is not doing anything besides sitting. Ice Bear then tells Grizzly that Meat Con is tomorrow. Ice Bear made Grizzly instantly change his mind and the duo decide to go to Meat Con the following day. Panda is angry that none of his brothers want to go with him to Anime Con. Suddenly, Grizzly and Ice Bear saw Panda looking at the Waitress and try to make the Waitress fall in love with him. Much to Panda's embarrassment, he rushes out of Bobba My <3 not wanting to be noticed.
Later at the Cave, the Bears are watching a movie. Panda recommends "My Sassy Heart", but Grizzly decided to watch "Hot Dog Ninja". The trio vote on which movie should they watch: Panda is the only one to vote for "My Sassy Heart" while Grizzly and Ice Bear vote for "Hot Dog Ninja". Out of anger, Panda decided to watch the show in his room. In the middle of the show, an ad appeared called Buddy Maker, and Panda quickly downloaded it. He ends up finding a guy named Tom and, per the app, is 99.3% match of Panda.
The next day, Panda is at Bobba My <3, checking out his friends in Buddy Maker. Tom appears in front of Panda, and he sits down across from Panda at his table. The duo had an awkward moment until Panda mentioned "My Sassy Heart", and they started talking about it. The Waitress from yesterday appears and starts flirting with Panda, but he ignores her and continues talking to Tom. As soon as Panda and Tom realize their similarities between each other, they instantly become best friends and hang out all the time throughout most of their days. Later at night, Panda arrives at home, and he introduces Tom to Grizzly and Ice Bear. The next day, the four are having a snack at a pizza shop. Grizzly generously offers Tom a slice of pizza once the pizza arrives to the table. Tom is a vegetarian, and due to that, he declines Grizzly's kind offer. Grizzly wants to talk about Meat Con, but gets cut off and ignored by Panda and Tom talking about "My Sassy Heart". Throughout the day, even with Grizzly and Ice Bear's presence, Panda ignores them and focuses on his new bestie, Tom.
The next day, Panda is half asleep and still in the process of waking up for the day. He goes over to the window in the bedroom and opens his curtains to let light in. When Panda opens up the curtains, he is horrified of the view of a high rise apartment in the city instead of the peaceful scenic view that he normally sees in the cave. Panda exits his "bedroom" in the high rise apartment. When he exits the bedroom, he is met with a glamorous and immaculate apartment. It turns out Tom has kidnapped Panda in the middle of the night and had brought him back to his high rise apartment. My Sassy Heart can be seen playing on Tom's display before he is greeted by Tom making Vegan Omelettes for the two of them for breakfast. Tom gives a brief tour of the place to Panda by showing him his voice activated computer and the kitchen. Tom explains that he wants Panda to be his roommate, so he secretly took Panda and his belongings from his home and placed it in his apartment. Panda becomes furious with Tom for kidnapping him, but Tom tells him that "the power of friends" and "love in a rental truck" made him kidnap Panda in the middle of the night. Panda, extremely infuriated decides to leave. Tom shuts the doors via voice command. Voice command then locks Panda inside the apartment. In attempt to escape, Panda goes to the bathroom, climbs out the window, and subsequently falls down as Tom goes after him, but ends up making the landing on a lift. Tom realizes what he has done and decides to let Panda go, telling him to "save himself." Tom tries to sacrifice his life, but Griff ends up catching him instead.
Panda returns to the cave to find Ice Bear and Grizzly preparing to watch TV. Panda tells his brothers that he will no longer be friends with Tom due to the recent chain of events. Grizzly offers to turn on my Sassy Heart, but Panda declines and lets Grizzly turn on Hot Dog Ninja. Panda is glad to be back with his brothers after all that has just occured.

- This episode features human characters designed to be human counterparts to the Bears. Their names are Tom, Griff and Isaac, who are Panda, Grizzly and Ice Bear's counterparts respectively.
