Welcome to Off-Topicism, where I talk about anything other than We Bare Bears.
If you are reading this blog, you probably know me for contributing to The We Bare Bears Wiki, and that is about it. One of the things you probably don't know about me is that I run a sport called Cross Country which is where you run a lot. That is basically all to it. I mean sometimes you run up hills and things, but that is all to it. I have been doing it for a while now, and as of me writing this, I am starting the season tomorrow. The thing about this sport is that I love it and hate it. I love the fact that you use strategy to try to run faster then your opponents, but on the other hand, I hate the fact that the runs are long, miserable, and boring. Now let me tell you some strategies I use in the sport. No, I am not talking about the drink lots of water kind, I am talking about the fun ones. First of all use the sun to your advantage. If you see a shadow coming upclose to you, dont look back to see who it is, just block the person by following his or her's shadow. Second tip is the opposite, use the sun not coming out to your opponent's disadvantage. What I mean is if you are coming very close to a person, they will probably speed up so you dont get farther than him or her. How you can avoid this is by running very quietly next to the person, then speed up right when you get to him or her. My final tip is be with someone. What I mean is find a moderatly fast runner and just follow him around. If you dont have the pace down, atleast he does. In conclusion, the sport is fun but hard.
